Prague, 10 December 2024 – The web portal of the Electronic Toll System in the Czech Republic is going to be available at a new web domain from 1 January 2025. Instead of the existing www.myto.gov.cz, carriers from all over Europe can find the necessary information and the Customer Zone at myto.gov.cz.
The adjustment in the domain of the MYTOCZ website also involves an adjustment in the contact e-mail address to info@myto.gov.cz. More than 19,700 messages were received at this e-mail address in the first 11 months of this year alone.
The original domain and email address will remain operational for approximately one year, but communications will be redirected to the new addresses. The carriers will thus have enough time to get used to the new address so that their submissions can be properly dealt with.
The ending gov.cz is used to uniquely identify and ensure the credibility of official public administration websites in the Czech Republic. The adjustment comes after more than five years of operation of the portal at the address chosen at the time of replacement of the toll system operator in 2019. Most web portals of the state administration and authorities are going to be transferred to the common domain of gov.cz in 2025. The unification of domains is going to contribute to increased cybersecurity and user comfort.
