They increased by 15% year-on-year, mainly due to the introduction of the new CO2 emission charge, which will account for approximately 15% of the total tolls paid from March 2024. A higher amount of toll collection with the same intensity of freight transport is also signalled by the trend in the number of toll transactions: CzechToll processed a total of 1.16 billion transactions in 2024, only 3% more year-on-year. 11. 12. 2024 | News | Myto cz Changes to the toll system from 1.1.2025 Changes to the electronic toll system, which will be valid from 1.1.2025 based on the amendment of Government Regulation No. 229/2024 Coll. and Decree No. 470/2012 Coll. From 1 January 2025, the toll road network will be expanded to include newly opened sections of motorways and class I roads, and the toll rate for the CO2 pollution charge for trucks will also be increased. 10. 12. 2024 | Press Release | Myto cz The toll service web portal for carriers is changing its domain: From 1 January 2025, it will be available at myto.gov.cz The web portal of the Electronic Toll System in the Czech Republic is going to be available at a new web domain from 1 January 2025. Instead of the existing www.mytocz.eu, carriers from all over Europe can find the necessary information and the Customer Zone at myto.gov.cz. More info

For vehicles first registered after 1 July 2019, operators can check the registration documents and use the CO2 Emission Class Finder at www.myto.gov.cz/co2 to see if they qualify for a higher CO2 emission class with lower fees.
