Changes to the electronic toll system, which will be valid from 1.1.2025 based on the amendment of Government Regulation No. 229/2024 Coll. and Decree No. 470/2012 Coll.
From 1 January 2025, the toll road network will be expanded to include newly opened sections of motorways and class I roads, and the toll rate for the CO2 pollution charge for trucks will also be increased.


Changes to toll roads

From January 1, 2025, the toll road network will be expanded to include newly opened sections of the D3, D4, D6, D7, D49, D55, I27, I33 and I58 roads.

List of newly charged sections

  • D3 Úsilné – Kaplice-nádraží with a total length of 28.29 km
  • D4 Háje – Mirotice with a total length of 31.67 km
  • D6 Krupá – (D6, I/6) with a total length of 6.45 km
  • D7 Panenský Týnec – Louny-východ with a total length of 4.4 km
  • D49 Hulín – Fryšták with a total length of 17.3 km
  • D55 Babice – Bzenec with a total length of 21.7 km
  • I27 Klatovy 1 – Klatovy 3 with a total length of 5.04 km
  • I33 Hořenice – Velký Třebešov with a total length of 6.55 km
  • I58 Mošnov-jih – Dvorek with a total length of 3.33 km

Increase in CO2 emission fee

Based on the government regulation, toll rates will be increased from January 1, 2025, the increase will be specifically for the CO2 emission fee, and not more than 5% compared to the current rates, other toll components will not be increased. The increase in toll rates applies to trucks, the toll rates for vehicles in categories M2 and M3 will not change, the same rates will also remain for vehicles using exclusively electricity or hydrogen as fuel.
